Concrete Imaging Services (CIS), a DeAndrea Company was founded in 2004 and is a contractual firm that specializes in ground penetrating radar (GPR).

The service we provide is nondestructive testing by using GPR equipment to locate rebar, conduit, post-tension cable, voids, PVC pipes, water and heating lines within the concrete, as well as check the thickness of the concrete.  CIS is also known for its expertise in core drilling as we are able to core drill holes as needed directly after locating targets all within 1 mobilization.  As one of the first of its kind, the demand for our services has never been greater; and we are a rapidly expanding enterprise.

This new state of the art equipment enables us to view concrete slabs and walls up to 18” thick from one side or 36” thick with access to both sides to locate targets.  Material thicker than 18” in depth that can only be accessed from one side can be imaged as well if substantial notice is given.
